At FDU we have two governing rules: (1) Safety and (2) FUN . We carry this philosophy not only through our comprehensive training programs, but also to our local charters.. Our staff has vast experience in all facets of recreational diving, assuring our students of the best training, from entry level ( PADI Open Water Diver ) to the level of PADI Instructor and Instructor continuing education.

FDU is an award winning dive operation, actively involved in the community. FDU is a participant in Keep Florida Beautiful Reef Clean Up Project. Captain Al Franklin is involved with MDA each year. FDU donates its dive boat "Giant Stride" as well as Captains Trip and Al Franklin to the Annual Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix Festival's Handicapped Children's Fishing Tournament (2000 was our 12th year).
