PADI Adventure Diver

a new certification....

PADI has a new dive class - Adventure Diver. This exciting new class can be completed in only one day. Be one of the first to earn this certification.

This class is a three (3 ) dive program. FDU will be conducting this class on our dive boat, Giant Stride in the Sarasota/Venice area.

The FDU program will include the following dives:

1- Navigation Dive - REQUIRED DIVE ( you will need a dive compass ). 

2- Night Dive  - REQUIRED DIVE ( you will need a whistle or Air Alert, a Cylume stick and dive light )

3- Marine Life ID Dive ( you will need a slate ) or Search and Recovery Dive ( you will need a slate ) or DPV (Scooter) Diver or Boat Dive

and:  Review of material from the CD Program

A dive knife or tool is required for every diver on each dive.

The cost for the Adventure Diver class is $175.00 and includes: 

Certification fee to PADI

Instructor guided dives

CD software

Dive equipment and charter fees are not included - dive equipment rental is available and each diver will  need two (2) color, passport photos ( we can take them for you for $10.00 ) 

The next step in the continuing education ladder is the Advanced Open Water  Class. This class can be taken in the conventional mode described OR be taken as a one (1) day extension to the Adventure Diver class.

In the 1 day mode, the following dives will be added:

1- Deep Dive ( over 60' ) - REQUIRED DIVE

2- Computer Assisted Dive ( dive computer needed ) or Wreck Dive or Drift Dive ( if possible ) or any of the above optional dives, if not used for Adventure Diver certification 

and:  Review of material from the CD Program

A dive knife or tool is required for every diver on each dive.

The cost for the 1 day mode is $75.00 and includes:

Instructor guided dives
