First Road Trip

Well the first group of students is all done cept for the opened water divn. Theys got 20 students all signed up an paid up for the "road trip" down to LA.

Theys tell everyone to meet em at Bubba and Clem's Dive Emporium and Gas Station on Friday at 3 o clock. Just bring theys dive stuff and clothes and Bubba hopes a teethbrush.

Peoples start to showing up at haf pass one all ready to go. Many of em come to just hang out at Bubba and Clem's Dive Emporium and Gas Station. Theys a hole room set up as a scuba lounge. Its got a RC Coke Colar machine, a peanut machine ( for making elephant dranks - for you yankees an elephant drank is wheres you put goobers down in a bottle of RC Coke Cola and drank it down ), a hole heep of magazines bout divn, and a giant screen TV with video players and DVD and 37 surround speakers ( it bettern the movie theatre where theys come from ). Theys a bunch of sofas and comfy reclining chairs, Bubba even installed several chrome plated spitting jugs. Theys want folks to hang out at the Dive Emporium and Gas Station figgering theys will want to go on a trip or buy sumthing and take some of them con ed classes ( Bubba reel worried about teaching any cons, he frade theys steal sumthing - only con he ever knowed was the feller over at the Federal Pen what sold them this building ). Theys got all the good dive movies on tape and videos of divn all over the world. They even got a video of that reel cute yankee gal in the yeller bikini string thang from Cozumel. She is so pretty.

Theys plenty room at the Dive Emporium and Gas Station to park your car ot pickem up truck and it will be safe there whilst on the road trip causen the guard gator ( what don't got no name yet ) will keep thieves and bums away. Rudy will protect them too. Bubba wanted to take Rudy on the road trip but Clem vetoed that idea reminding Bubba why theys call him Rudy.

The students showed up in all kinda cars and truks. Theys a BMW, a Corvette, a Mercedes, couple Caddys and a Dodge pick up, several Fod Truks and sum regular cars too.

The students range from Doctors, lawyers, gas station mechanic, nurse, housewives, and reguler bidness peoples too. Divn kinda makes all folks equal with one common bond, cept for some of them jerks on the AOL that knows everything and wouldn't no fun it it raised up from the floor and bite em in rear..

Bubba has the kid, Adam, what works in the Dive Emporium and Gas Station load up the bus with provisions for the trip. He fills up the RC Coke Coler machine, a fancy tap one like at a 7-11 store or at Joe's Bar down the roiad a piece, with fresh bottles, them big chrome ones, of RC Coke Coler, 7 up and Root A Coler. He stocks the ice holden ben with fresh ice from the machine in the Dive Emporium and Gas Station. He fills the ben that holds the goobers from a big ole poke sack. Adam makes sure the bathrooms got plenty of TP too. He also got to check that theys got plenty of CDs too, theys need Jimmy Buffett, Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Dolly and Reba. That oughta cover all tastes in music. The bus be full of diesel and the oil and water checked, the AC working great.

The kid Adam, and he's a reel good kid who is 17, spent all yesterday afternoon after he got out of school and band practice waxing the beautiful bus. Its just like a dive flag cause that's how Bubba had Earl Schibes paint it, all white with a red stripe. It shined like a new penny when Adam finished with it. He don't get to go on this trip causen he gotta play in the band, he be a drummer. And he gotta open the Dive Emporium and Gas Station on Saturday and feed and walk the guard gator and Rudy. Adam don't shine to Rudy none causen he says Rudy stinks.

Its time for the folks to load up in the bus. Bubba and Clem both got em a Commercial Driving License so they could drive the bus with folks in it. Everybody is in the bus and having a good ole time listening to that Buffett feller sang that island music about dreaming about Havana. Clem gonna drive the first part of the trip, Bubba is gonna play cruise director and wait on folks every need. Theys pull out onto the road and point it South towards LA. Panama City watch out, here theys come...
