Bubba and Clem Give the Money Back
Bubba and Clem finally decided what to do wid the $$2,700,000 that theys finded at the Hogansville rock quarie. Theys decided to turn the money in to the rightful owner. Theys had been a lot of stuff about this stoled money on the TV set. Seems that some fellers done robed an armored truk over in Augusta, GA. And shot up the driver and guard ( thoses fellers are hurt bad but bes alive ). They catched the fellers and got em in the jailhouse. Bubba thunk that theys should have shot em dead on the spot.
The money belongs to some computer kinda bidness in Augusta. Bubba and Clem thunk that the right thang to do were to give it back. And thats exactly what theys did. They called up the company and telled them that theys got the money and arranged for them to come and get it. Bubba called some of his kin folks and axed them to come to Atlanta and help him guard the money till theys gived it back. They had hid the money in an old well down in Cowetta County at a farm owned by that feller in Sorysota, FL.
The computer kinda company came to Bubba and Clem's Dive Emporium and Gas Station as arranged to pick up the money. Theys came in an armored truk with some gun fetching fellers in a uniform. The big boss of the computer kinda company came along and wanted to thank Bubba and Clem for being good fellers. He also gived them a $50,000 reward. He telled them it was an honor to meet honest men too.
Bubba and Clem got to thinking what theyed do with the reward money. Neither of them needed any money at all, theys both got more than they could ever spend. They both decided to send the reward money to the relief effort for the poor people of Honduras, especially the people of the island of Guanaja. Bubba and Clem have been to that place on a dive trip a few years ago and loved the peoples there. Those poor folks got wiped out by that darn hurricane named fer a boy, Mitch. The money will be converted into food and supplies to help those folks put their simple lives back together. Bubba and Clem encourage everyone to help these poor people (information is available at

Bubba telled Clem that he was reel glad to help those poor folks who got theys butt whipped by that dogon boy storm. Clem concurred.
It about lunch time and Bubba wants sum fryed catfish and hushpuppies to ate. They a place over in East Point what has an all you can eat deal of catfish. They had better change the all you can eat sign before the boys get there. They heered that this joint had the bestest fish in Georgia and wonderful ice tea too. They get there and there is one crowded eating joint. Bubba gives his name to the hostess lady and she says she will call em in about 30 min.
Well about 40 minutes later, Bubba knowed that causen he checked on his gold Rolex watch. He can tell time reel good. The pretty lady host calls out Bubba and about 25 people stand up to get a table. Seems out in East Point, theys a lot of folks called Bubba. She motions the reel Bubba to come on in and get a table, Clem follows like a puppy dog. Clem is ready to tie on a feed bag. They order the all you can eat fryed catfish with free glass of ice tea specials. It were only $8.94 each.
The food comes out so hot the steam is coming offen it. Each plate has about 4 fillets of catfish fryed up in egg, buttermilk and cornmeal batter and 4 hushpuppies, golden brown. A side of cold claw and some fried taters finish it off. The ice tea comes in glasses so big it takes two hands to drink out of em. Must be a pound of sugar in each glass.
Clem says that this is the bestest fish he ever ate. Bubba nodded his approval as he shoved more in his mouth. They reorder more of everything. Theys got there at quarter past noon and Bubba's Rolex watch now says 4 o'clock. Clem writ down a x mark on the place mat that says See Rock City on it every time a new plate of fish were served. Seems that the boys almost shut the place cause theys ordered 11 plates of fish each and are still eating. Bubba wanted to save room for a couple of slices of Apple Pie and iced cream fer desert. Clem was nodding off causen he eated hisself into a coma.
They had to drive back to the Dive Emporium and Gas Station and teach a pool session tonight. Clem hoped that Adam walked the gator and feeded him too. They got in trouble last week when that gator ate a neighbor ladies fluffy orange cat. The drive back was awful causen they ate too much and was uncomfortable.
