This Bible is owned by a descendant of James and Mary Young, Mrs. Thomas Crooks, formerly Sadie Lester, Of Newberry ,SC.  Mary Young, wife of James Young, Sr. was b. Mary Thompson according to all the descendants around Newberry. It is also proven by court records, they say. In the front of the book is, "Mary Young Her Book"
