Dive charters are offered daily unless cancelled due to weather. We do require a minimum of 2 to run, Weather is a big factor in Gulf of Mexico diving. . Wind is our biggest problem. FDU will not run charters in marginal weather for your safety and FUN. |
Deposits
are required for all charters and are
non-refundable if a trip is canceled less than 48 hours prior to
departure.
Deposits are fully refundable if FDU cancels the charter.

The Giant
Stride flies a "skull and cross bone" pirate flag in memory of
Captain 
Al's 4th great
grandfather,
Adam W Wideman, a soldier and
well
known pirate during the American Revolutionary War; the Giant Stride also
flies a Confederate Battle Flag in memory of Al's great grandfather. Elijah
Olbert Linch, a sailor and blockade running pirate in the Confederate Navy
during the War Between the States.
But of course, the magnificent flag of the USA flies in the predominate position on the Giant Stride.
