PADI Rescue Diver Class


Why get your Rescue Diver certification from FDU? First, our instructors are extremely experienced. With over 37 years of diving experience and more than 14,950 logged dives, our Training Director is a PADI Course Director and teaches rescue skills to other instructors. He has participated in and observed many real-world rescues, enabling him to teach from actual experiences. All of our other instructors also have many years of real-world diving experience and can many insights into rescue situations and how best to approach them as a rescue diver.

Safety always comes first at FDU. If something can not be done safely, we don't do it! Our reputation for safety throughout the dive industry is well known. FDU was a dive industry pioneer in the required use of an alternate air source. Our dive boat has a state-of-the-art oxygen delivery system onboard, and we frequently conduct "real world" accident scenarios to continually hone our rescue skills.


Rescue Diver Class Admission Requirements


Certification as an Advanced Open Water diver (any agency)

CPR and First Aid Certification 

You must be 15 years of age or older ( Junior Rescue Diver is available for those 12-14 years of age )

As with any dive class, value, not price should be your primary consideration when choosing a training facility. We strongly believe that the PADI rescue class we offer is the best available anywhere. Our fee is :

$300 - that's VALUE


Additionally, the PADI/DAN Oxygen Provider course (highly recommended) is available for only $75.00 when taken with the Rescue Diver class (normally $95.00 )
