Our President, Captain Al Franklin, has been involved in shooting since 1963. He was a member of the original East Atlanta Free Divers club in the 60's. This group of 5 guys won just about every spearfishing tournament in the Southeastern United States in the 60's. Al continues to this day to enjoy the art of spearfishing and game taking.

Captain Trip Franklin has become quite the expert shooter and he along with Captain Al Franklin teach our PADI Underwater Hunter Specialty course. This course is a great way to learn how to take game in a safe and lawful manner. Catching lobster is also included. You MUST have a current Florida Saltwater Fishing License and Lobster stamp. The class consists of classroom time and two open water dives. After the class we have a fish cookout - fried and grilled at Trip's home. The cost of the class is only $90.00 and includes the instruction and use of one of our custom Riffe spearguns, and the fish cookout. The cost of the diving is extra.
